 OBJECTIVE

When a new member of staff starts work someone must, within the first two days, give him/her important information about health and safety as it relates to the workplace and the work to be undertaken.

This is the fundamental health and safety training that all members of staff at all levels should receive.

Employers should ensure all on-site employees and subcontractors have completed Occupational Health and Safety Industry Induction Training. Employers are then regarded as having fulfilled the elementary training and instruction component under the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993.

Duration    : 2 – 3 Hours
